Welcome

Evidence based therapy to support you to better understand your difficulties and develop coping strategies to reduce symptoms and improve your quality of life.  Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is proven to be as effective as medication in the reduction of depression and anxiety disorder symptoms. Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR) is a highly effective intervention in the treatment of trauma. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a recommended treatment for psychological distress associated with long-term health conditions and substance misuse.

I have extensive experience in the treatment of Addictive behaviour.  I am also a qualified Psychodynamic counsellor.  I offer a range of interventions and techniques to support you to feel better.

Finding a therapist can be difficult. Even if I've been recommended to you, you still need to decide whether I am somebody you feel able to work with. So please browse my website and send me an email or phone me if you want to discuss anything further. You are not obliged to book a session or pay a penny. However, talking to each other may help us to decide if an assessment would be appropriate.
